Everything you see here is created by WISS students, for WISS students - The Sapphire is a student-led newsletter founded by three high school students in May of 2020. Having all previously worked in some capacity for the previous WISS publication originally named, the Paperclip magazine, as well as having a shared understanding of the importance of journalism and writing, we find that it is imperative to have a platform on which students can freely articulate their opinions. Here at the Sapphire, we feature the creative contributions from several student writers, including our own core team, and we strive to publish high-quality work for the student body to freely engage with.
